Between what time is it safe to adjust the moon phase and date of a Tri Compax?

I was going on the assumption that it’s safe between 6am-6pm? Am I correct?

The calendar should not be adjusted between midnight and 3AM

 

You know, it's just not fair to pull out an original owner's manual from the 1940s that's rarer than the watch itself..!
