    Hi All
Bought a while ago but it has been at the spa in order to get it in good working order.
A detail I noticed is that the model and serial number are marked inside the caseback.
I am used to see them on the outside.
Does anybody have an idea when UG started to mark the numbers on the outside.
Also comments (positive or negative) 20171130_201353.jpg 20171130_195420.jpg 20171130_201500.jpg 20171130_201437.jpg 20171130_181334.jpg on my new baby are much appreciated

You definitely see both, and I've never been clear what the deal is, interested to hear if it's a simple as it was done inside before X date, and outside after. With UG it often seems more complicated.
As to your watch, I love it. Rarely see the two tone dials, particular favorite of mine. The case seems extraordinarily clean compared to the dial, has someone been after that thing with a heavy polishing wheel or is it just pristine?
Was that dial born in that case, I can never really tell what UGs logic was in combining gold, silver, SS, etc.
Anyhow, congrats, I think it looks great.
That chrono sweep is not looking good, though, hope it resets properly!

    Thanks for the comments.
Watch was polished by a jeweller while movement was/is with the watchmaker
Agree with you with UG we can never know.
    Thanks

    Hi All,
As promised I will post new pictures of my restored UG Tri-Compax.
    Watchs is from 1943 - 1945, 34 mm diameter (481 movement)
As some of you might remember, I bought this some months ago on the bay.
Watch was in USA and, as I am based in Portugal, it took some time to get the watch at home.
In this particular I must praise Adam from @mentawatches, which was very helpfull to me and a trusted person.
The watch to the naked eye and to the outside was not in the best condition, but the movement was completed, althought dirty and some functions not working.
It needed a new stem, spring barrel, and balance staff.
Case was polished, new crystal, and the crown and pushers also had a treatment to have the same color of the case.
Hope you enjoy the pics, and any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks to @gop76 to help grow the UG feeling on me
