Thought would share with you this vintage 481 calibre tri-compact, as you can see it is in need of a bit of work, Movement is complete with 18ct gold case, but sadly is missing bezel and crystal, Watch measures 34mm, nice original and untouched piece, good news is manually winding , watch runs well , although haven't connected pushers to test any of sub dials ect, close inspection I notice that movement is missing small part that should have sat just across from calibre number, to month counter I think, serial number to movement is 252566, 18ct gold case as per images has all relevant UG markings . Congratulations, nice restoration project, the bezel can be made by a goldsmith, the missing part in the movement can be easily found.
Crystal is nothing, IMO the fact that the dial is original and wearable, the case seems in good shape, the movement is clean, are the most important.
Very feasable, it all depends what you have paid for it. Good luck and keep us informed !

 

Thanks for comments 10H, Watch will need to be purchased by someone to carry out restoration to it, my usual purchases are watches that in general need only a service, sure someone will take fancy to it.
