Beware folks, these are not compax hands. They are too long. The look like compax hands in images. However, when fitted, they protrude the second runner scale so although sort of OK, they are not. Considering the price some sellers are asking, you would have thought that they would have ensured that they were correct !

examples

I believe that they are from different references. The Aero compax and Big eye use the same of equivalent caliber movement but have a bigger dial ...

I was wondering about these hands. I want a pair for my Aerocompax but wasn't sure if they're the right fit.
Aerocompax has a bigger dial but also a wider tachy scale. So I'm not sure if it's the same issue

Not sure how accurate my measurements are since the hands are on a working watch. But here they are:
Hour hand: 11.63mm
Minute hand: 15.67mm

That sounds about right (without handling them). I make the slightly (between 0.2-0.3 mm) bigger but could just be down to distance from hands.

That looks about the right length. How do they look up close? Are they somewhat rounded or completely flat? And the finish is blued steel right?

Blued steel and rounded and look new with a slight trace of oxidation which would probably polish off easily. As far as I can see, they are original UG hands. Just made for 22704 aero or big eye and as the movement on the big eye is a Valjoux 22 (a two register precursor of the V72), same hole size !
