Like many of you, I spend far too much time on the dreaded 'Bay, fishing. Late one night a month or so ago, I caught this. Though some might not look twice at it (a simple uni- compax, 35mm, cal. 285), the thick lume caught my eye and the caseback confirmed my military watch sensing instincts. Anyway, here it is, a F.A.B- forca aerea brasileira- uncommon, I believe, in stainless steel.
I admit to being an utter NOOB where it comes to UG (and pretty much everything else for that matter) but why would a service watch be "rare" issued in stainless steel?
Most of the examples I've seen for the Brazilian military( both F.A.B. and E.B.) have been in gold. Does Sala have anything on them?
