Hi guys ... my first thread in Universal Geneve Watches I introduce you my U.G. Compur black dial Reference 22519 Serial caseback 814xxx cal 287 c.1941/42 37.5 mm case with square push-buttons and snap caseback Thanks for reading Alfredo
What makes you question the lume? If that was resumed (and I dought this) it was a hell of a good job!
Well ... I bought the watch in these conditions My thought is that the hands were relumed, they are quite swollen ... No sure the indexes Thanks
Very unusual hand set--and super black dial! I like it! You'd need a full evaluation of the lume by an expert to know whether those have been relumed or not as original radium lume can swell.
If the lume is super bright and responsive to light, could you not assume that it has been done over?
Well that would certainly stack the deck. All I've got to go from are a couple of pictures on the internet, though.
Relumed or not, I like it very much. In fact, I think that, if relumed, it seems to be a very good job.
