Figured I would share two aircraft clocks that I came across today. I work on aircrafts and when I get in the cockpit I always look to see what's installed for clocks ususally they are digital and don't interest me at all. Today I was working on a Beechcraft 1900 and was stunned to see a Mathey-Tissot TYPE 12 fly back chronograph and a Breguet TYPE 11/1 non fly back chronograph installed. Wound both of them up and played around with them. Here are a few photos This might interest a few of you. Cheers Chad
Beautiful, Thanks! Always enjoyed industrial instruments, no muss, no fuss they just show you exactly what you need to see in a clear, clean layout!
Funny as I clear large vessels coming into the country and always look at the clocks in the corridors and on the bridge. A lot still have a old back up manual wind in a cupboard on the bridge if you look hard enough Some of the older Japanese gas boats have cool old Seiko clocks ( have to take some photographs ) Newer ones are still Seikos but not as cool.
Here is a WWII Waltham A11 US Navy Aircraft Clock in my collection I keep it running daily + it keeps good time
Very nice @chadpowe11 Love aircraft clocks but judging from prices more are finding the love. One of mine, Waltham A-13A with 'Flyback' function.
