I love the variety of vintage Seamasters. The De Ville was inherited from my grandfather many moons ago. At the time I thought, "This is an old man's watch," and threw it in a shoebox. Well, I guess I'm an old man now, because it regularly ends up on my wrist. Just love the linen dial. The 300 was an online auction find. I searched high and low through the minefield of 300s out there and was so happy to score this one. I love the big triangle, and the date is a must for me. It ended up needing a relume from Jack at IWW. I'm not particularly into lume and would have preferred to not mess with the dial at all, but a previous owner's attempt at reluming had gone horribly awry and needed to be addressed. (Unfortunately, that wasn't really discernible in the auction photos. Such are the perils of not inspecting in person.) Anyway, tough to believe these two are only three years apart. ('64 for the De Ville and '67 for the 300, I believe.) Just wanted to share. Have a great weekend, all. ... Deldog
