I ordered an extract of archives for two seamaster 300 from my collection and was quite surprised to see the production dates !
I bought the big triangle 6 years ago... and the other one recently.

The watches are very similar actually : same bezel, hands, naiad crown, 1116 bracelet, silver date disk,166024-67 SC caseback... I think all parts are original (except maybe the crystal).

    Very nice pair!
What is even cooler is that they are both in pretty similar condition as well. Congrats!

I have to be happy with my WatchCo SM300 (black date wheel but should have taken the no date they offered me first). But it can't compare to the real deal - vintage.

I prefer the no date too but you got a great one! And the bracelet combo is an absolute match!
    Cheers

I bought it with the Omega shark mesh and a NOS 1171 bracelet too. It looks 10x better on the mesh, although I prefer the 1116 over the 1171, but mesh is still on top.

Congrats and nice pair! These things happen, I have a pair of black dial pie pan constellation separated by only 6 serial places, not ordered extracts for them, but reckon if I did they will show production day as the same! One ends in 070 and the other 076. 2015-01-13 15.10.06.jpg

Born in Switzerland, sold in Italy and reunited in the same home ! Couple of lovely looking watches.

The odds of buying two random watches separated by only 4 days in production, or only 6 digits on the serial number is fairly astronomical.

We've gone slightly off topic from SM300, but my son and I have a pair of SMP Bond Quartz watches, and we're separated by 61,662 on the serial numbers (56,3xx,xxx vs 56,4xx,xxx). Close but no cigar :)

Nice! Funny: I have a 26.947m 166.024 so more or less in the middle with a production date of 28 Jan 1969

Especially when they are both from my son's birth year.
