A '58 cal 12.68ZS (he's asking $1600): And a 9K Gold/Black '64 19.4S (he's asking $2100): He's asking
I had a feeling the black one was bogus... so the '58, too? very good to know! Have you seen the first one I posted about an hour ago, the Steel '54, with a 12.68Z? I know he's asking way too much.. but is it otherwise OK?
Released in 1953 - 19,800 vph, 19.4 mm wide x 3 mm thick, 19 jewels, made both with sub-seconds (19.4) and center sweep seconds (19.4S).
Thanks, Dennis. Although he says these were just serviced and running great, I don't want a re-dial, so I won't be getting either of these... if anyone else in has interest, I'll be glad to pass on contact info...
And a public thanks to Dennis from me for opening my eyes to a shonky Longines that I was desperately eyeing off.
Despite the slight disbelief of Omega guys, Longines is even worse in the redial department (on a percentage basis). Probably because the redialers can recreate the fonts more accurately.
