Tax season is over, my wrist got itchy and opportunity knocked. That's a tough combo to resist.

First up is this 14K LeCoultre Powermatic, obtained from one of our esteemed moderators.

This puppy isn't exceptionally large, but it has a big presence on the wrist. I'll add better pictures later.

Next is an example of a brand that was missing from the collection -- Girard Perregaux.

Haven't strapped it on yet as that band is positively disgusting. But at 34-35mm it's a bit larger than expected.

What can I say? I've been bitten by the Squirrels,

    I like that GP!

If you do searches on ebay for straps in English sizes, for example 5/8, 11/16, and so forth, you often find NOS JB Champion straps (among others) that would fit those watches really well.

    Thanks! That's a great idea.

As part of the deal Dennis threw in a signed LeCoultre buckle. Problem is that it's only 14mm. Finding a 19mm X 14mm strap is next to impossible.

Is this better? Black dials are so hard to photograph properly.

Not when you look at the English sizes.

I feel confident you can fine something nice!

Wow, very nice pair! Evan I have a black genuine lizard Hadley Roma 19mm with 14mm buckle that I brought for my C case Constellation. I don't like the extreme taper, if you want it PM me your address and it's yours.

I think I saw some for sale on ebay by edelweiss2000, I think it was an "original vintage" 19mm omega with 14mm end. Take a look
