I found these two identical cal.354 Connies at the same eBay seller. Is there a logical explanation for them to have consecutive serial and case back numbers?

or maybe he found a truck filled with old connies.

 

I contacted the seller, who promptly replied:

It is just a coincidence. They were purchased in different moments

@felsby . I have been monitoring one of the sellers other watches, really good communication from them. Do you know anything more about them? - I only ask as it looks like the one im looking at is in Ecudor, whereas your one is in the US.

 

Both watches in my original post are from the same dealer - bestdealshd. They get good feedback on eBay.
