Flyback Chronos for extrem stress situations. not many remain in remarkable condition, like this one here. this one here is a very early example with the silver/gold perlage movement. and in extraordinary condition as well. we had 15 of these over the last 28 years. this one here is by far the best movement example. i`ve seen. unmolested. all screw heads sharp and extremly well kept. it was in a drawer for the last 50 years, because the return pusher cap was lost. we replaced both pusher caps with NOS original pushers and new pusher rubber seals and metal o ring as well. bought from the only source left, Frank Roesky in Karlsruhe,Germany. works like a charm, but service history unknown. therefore sold as is with no returns. we woulkd recommend a complete service and a change of mainspring after 67 years . the performance , as you can see from the timing machine pics., is very good. but drops, as soon as the chronograph is engaged. still works, but too much strain on the movement without a service. our military watch maker here in Sydney has serviced a few of these over the years and if the Buyer wants, he can have a complete movement service for around A$ 800 with warranty. takes around 4-6 weeks. or you take care of it. no parts needed here. and that is rare for these chronos and parts are very hard to find these days. All original dial. unblemished ! all original Hands . Unblemished ! even the original plexi; a few scratches and dents. the case is very good for these models, a few dents and blemishes and it looks like it was re chromed a long time ago. because after that it still had wearto the case and the back, where it was worn an a kind of NATO strap , which removed the plating there. matching numbers of Movement and Case Back . very rare these days ! all original small and long crown ! all original changed Pusher caps. flyback function fine. returns to zero without a problem. but we can not take any responsibility for future performance without a complete service. sold as is. we will include the old strap as well. not pictured here; worn. fixed lugs. old case shape. turning bezel works fine. this model could have the first version bezel with the outer pointer over the plexi. but the centerpiece is the perfect movement. that is one of the finest flyback chronograph movements , ever made. here you buy a lot of history. and become a Guardian for History.
