·I just got a new 41mm AT from Matt at WatchExchange (good, smooth transaction, BTW). I thought I'd share it on here. There's nothing I can really say about the AT that y'all probably don't know. I will say this, however: This thing is gorgeous. As you can see in the pics, the dial (especially the gradiant effect) looks different in different lighting conditions. While a turquoise dial sounds like it would be attention-grabbing, it's not overly so. Below are pics on the OEM bracelet and on a Hirsch Accent strap. Both look great to my eyes. The two big things I'd address if possible are 1) I would prefer a quick-set date. I know a lot of people like the 8900 hour hand setup, but since I rotate my watches frequently, it's a pain in the butt to get to the right date after it's been stopped for a week, or so. I'd rather not have the additional wear/tear on the gears from having to rotate the hour hand around so many times. Yeah, I know the 38mm has the quick-set date, but I wanted a 41mm. And 2) No surprise here...the clasp. They added a way to adjust it for wrist swelling. That's all fine and dandy unless you don't want to see a gap in the clasp of a $6000+ watch. They should do better.
Aside from those two nits I'm picking, Omega really did a good job with this one. Here are the pics.
