A few months ago I stopped by the OB looking to try on the GSOTM to see if I really wanted one and yep, I loved it. While being there I started trying some other watches and the 331.12.42.51.02.002 really caught my eye. I started looking for one second hand but they are not that common. After giving up, I started to look among the grey market dealers and I did find it, but it was a little over what I was willing to spend so I decided to wait. Lastly I set up an alert on watch recon for a speedmaster ´57 and 2 showed up. One was the one with the brown strap which I was looking for, but had the blue dial and red hands which I don´t quite like, and the other one was the 331.10.42.51.02.002 that comes with the white dial and rose gold markers and hands but came on a bracelet. The price was awesome and it was cheaper to buy the strap from omega and make the swap than buying it on the strap in the first place, and I ended up with a strap and a bracelet. I ended up buying the watch and ordered the strap and buckle directly from Omega. The buckle was delivered to me next day and the strap took around a month to arrive since it was not in stock and they had to order it from switzerland. Finally I made the swap and ended very happy with the watch I wanted. IMG_0038.JPG IMG_0039.JPG IMG_0040.JPG IMG_0139.JPG IMG_0244.JPG IMG_0245.JPG IMG_0246.JPG IMG_0282.JPG IMG_0284.JPG

Awesome looking watch. The gold hands and markers look great on the white dial.

    That's indeed a nice watch.
I love it when people go for the full package ( bracelet & strap ).
    Have fun wearing it.

This is one of the few times I see a watch with gold on it and think it looks great!
