This is a fairly new addition, and wondered it there were any fans of Rangers here. This is a ref. 90220, from the 1980's, with tritium dial.

Nice looking watch. Nice and simple.

That hour hand looks like the one on a Longines diver discussed not that long ago.

    That's a nice one, and I am a fan of those snake-head hands.

The Ranger is a Tudor classic, and the early ones are a quite sought-after reference.

Careful though, lots of fakes and frankens out there.

Stunning, I love the ranger, would take it over the new one in a heart beat.

The original Tudor ranger is like the Rolex Explorer 5500. Even if my own mother had one for sale, box, papers, and sales receipt, I still wouldn't buy one. For every original TR, there are 25 fakes

Unlike vintage Rolex which has high quality fakes, a Tudor ranger fake is relatively easy to spot even by a cursory glance...the textile of dial, the quality of prints and fonts all are relatively easy tell-tale sign of fake/authentic

Sharing my Rangers, low key and modestly priced beauties relative to the Explorers...the first Ranger with rare small rose logo reference 7995 and a blue Ranger II

Great watches! I really love the configuration of the dial and hands. I've always wanted to acquire the no date Ranger but have only come across 1 or 2 authentic ones.

The no-date Ranger is a charming watch, classic and simple, although I wish it is a 36mm watch like the explorer 1

Interesting. I read this post earlier and while browsing ebay I ran across my favorite Seamaster 120 fraudster. Looking at his other items for sale I noticed this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-TUD...R-SWISS-SS-AUTOMATIC-MENS-WATCH-/282037273136Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network.

Can someone verify if this is fake? I'm somewhat obsessed with calling this guy out on his crap.

Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread.

The eBay ranger is 100% fake. You don't even have to mention the notorious Red Ranger to call it a fake, just a quick glance tells you a few wrong places

    1. Watch Hands too long
    2. Rose logo too big
    3. Words "Ranger" too large for small rose Ranger
    4. Arabic numeral 3-6-9-12 isn't rolex...
