There was one in the WoK Dubai sale today... which I totally missed, and one on eBay before Christmas where I asked for better pictures, and the seller never came back to me...

Have you thought about a Rolex Thunderbird?

You loose the "day" but get the same rotating bezel and look, plus it's a vintage Rolex. Prices are super low on them. Little more dressy then sporty.

That's what turned me on to them actually. I'll admit some of them are not the most pleasing designs, but some are simply stunning. The price differential vs the datejust is amazing. I really think the T-birds are on the way up, esp the great looking combinations like the B&S listing in the other thread.

WoK even with the 25% was less than any on Chrono24 chap...

I think this is going to take some patience.

Did they make 2 sizes? I see them listed at 36 mm.

WoK ended at £1500 with 25% which is cheaper than any currently on chrono24 that I can find...

Thanks for the heads up Bill!

I'd love to get my hands on one in the metal before committing... as I'd heard your feedback from a couple others on TRF. :)
