This watch is growing in me. Don't know what should I expect from the AR, is it equally transparental like Omega, or much closer to the Rolex lustre effect?

    Somewhere in the middle.
Most modern Omega watches have AR coating on both sides of the crystal, Rolex don't put AR at all.
Pelagos has it on the inner side.

The AR on the Pelagos is pretty good, but nothing like the "invisible" effect of Omega double-sided AR. The dial is so crisp and readable that while the AR is not as good, it is rather effective. I find black dialed Rolex watches to be too reflective due to the lack of AR. Here's a picture I took a while back as a size comparison, but it also shows the difference in AR (ignore the speedy):

    Thanks Both.
@socolinsky how do you find the Pelagos thickness when compared to 2201?

@vitriol I actually recently traded the Pelagos because I just couldn't handle the size. I have a 7.25 inch wrist and the Pelagos was just too much. It is a beautiful watch and I really wish Tudor made it in a 38-40mm size. Between the slab sides and the fact that the bezel is a full 42mm wide (vs 40mm for the 2201), it wears larger than the Planet Ocean. The measured height may not be that different between the two but the design is such that the Pelagos wears taller.

Nice pic. Is that a left handed Pelagos, or is tht actually your right arm? I think it is just the angle, taken by someone else?
I have the Tudor 79220R, whole lot of reflection going on there.. But what a watch!

That's the left hand drive version of the watch.

I think I've settled on the Pelagos being my next watch. My wrist is around 8" and I think it looks manageable whenever I try it on at the boutique... But, if they just trimmed it down to 41mm and found a way to take 1-2mm off the height, it would be perfect.

It's the LHD version. You can quickly tell by looking at the date wheel, which has a red color today (red on even days, black on odd days). Also note the word Pelagos is on red, only the LHD has that

I have much smaller wrists than you and I find it to fit wonderfully. I wear it mainly at work, and more often than not on some form of NATO. I have the bracelet and rubber as well (it comes with the watch), and I find the bracelet to be fantastic.

Here's mine on the wrist. Perspective makes it seem oversized, but it's not, it seats perfectly right in the middle of my 7.5" wrist.

That looks great! Really want to pick one up, but spent way too much on watches in the last couple years and need to cool off. Maybe I'll sell a few and speed up the process.

Be very careful.. You are in dangerous ground. You have identified the problem, that is the half of it.. and yet, you are in very dubious company.. I speak from experience.. As most of us, including yourself, do!
    They are nice though!
