Strolling in Asia and bumped into a Rolex/Tudor AD.... damn this Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue is amazing on the wrist!!! They're offering 15% discount + a very strong US$ = potential purchase! This might be a quick infatuation but anyone has one and willing to show wrist shots?

A few months ago I went and tried the Black Bay and the blue heritage chrono. I thought id like the heritage chrono, but found that one FAR too chunky, and the blue a bit too 'baby blue'. The Black Bay is thinner than a Speedy, so I found it OK.

I agree its a bit chunky but still looks fantastic on the wrist... do you think its collectible at all? I really like this look but definitely not going for the original monte carlo. The quoted price is US$3,220 for a brand new from AD with 2 years of international warranty... seems like a pretty good deal

I don't care so much about the ETA movement here ... but I don't know too much about Tudor either and whether they introduce re-issues often? Or maybe a new re-issue coming up soon?

Collectable? Very much doubt it. No idea on price. Have you checked out authenticwatches.com?
I picked up a Black Bay in red as a good beater watch

Not collectible really. It's a new watch, after all. Buy it if you like it, but as a new watch it has devalued (as to be expected) on the second hand and gray market. What it will be worth in 10 years or more, who knows?

I like mine, but wear it on the nylon strap, as I find the bracelet too heavy for my medium wrist. It seems less "chunky" as well on the strap.

Thanks y'all-- in the end I decided to purchase one...got a really good deal at US$3k net for a brand new one from Rolex AD with 2 years of int'l warranty.

I actually like how its a bit chunky since it gives a more luxurious feel. The beveled edges are amazing touch as well. The add on module is the bummer but even AP use DD add-on and its priced way more than this THC so it isn't that bad I guess! It also has a date and GMT feature and I love this watch! Sorry I know I'm like 2 years late with this watch but I started my hobby earlier this year... 3dd1149004d17d83968d0a2fca8d86bc.jpg f105e03ef148d3f44be381fbc9205694.jpg

I put the OEM ranger leather strap on mine, I prefer how it looks on the leather strap than the NATO.

Very Nice! I also have an aftermarket brown leather strap...the strap matches the chrono hand!

some of the best looking new watches being made by Tudor. Classic designs from the past.

The colour combination of the heritage chrono is amazing. Cream, blue, orange. Formula for an amazing dial.

I like the blue Pelagos, except for all those words on the dial! What were they thinking?

Seriously ! I would definitely have bought the watch if it didn't have all the mumbo jumbo.

I like it a lot, but I thought it was a bit too thick for my taste. The temptation of a blue Pelagos was enough for me to hold off.

Ive come so close to purchasing the chrono blue and the original chrono. Its an absolutely gorgeous watch. There was always something preventing me from pulling the trigger. IMO, it feels too much like a production watch. I know it pays homage to the original "monte carlo", but it doesn't feel like there is anything special to it. I don't mean to offend anyone, 3k is a lot of cash for a watch. If I am going to be spending that much money on anything, especially a watch- I want it to have a story. Stories make life interesting.....
