Came across this via another thread.

I've liked the Tudor Black Bays since they were released, particularly the Blue, but I still don't think I'd buy one as for me, the Red looks too forced, slightly too yellow, whereas the Blue just lacks, something.

Then I saw this and I think it's stunning. All the great vintage aspects of the Submariner in a modern watch you can actually use for diving.

Unfortunately it's a one off!

It looks like they wanted to put a tiny skull and crossbones on the bezel but couldn't be ferked finishing the job.

Any precedent for this? Given the positive reviews might they tweak a few bits and release a Black Bay Black?

So I had a chance to try it on today, and it's an absolute beauty. I'm not 100% sure if they'll be using the same bezel or dial color for the Black Bay Black, but if they do the latest release will fly off the shelves. Also had a chance to try on a bunch of the other One Watch pieces, but the Black Bay stood out amongst the crowd.
If anyone else is in the NYC area you have to make it over to the Phillips Auction preview. The Rolex and Patek sections might be the most impressive collections I've ever seen.

Same dial color with no minutes markers on the bezel but a beauty for sure. I picked mine up just after my AD opened the doors.
