Maybe a just as difficult to buy alternative. I love mine. The Harrods edt is good but adds fuel to the fire of a Rolex wannabe. IMO. But as for the Bucherer... There's nothing like it!

I’ve tried on multiple BB’s, and seriously considered an eta one. I just couldn’t shake the feeling that it’s just a lessor sub. I’ll admit the Harrolds and Bucherer are dead sexy and provide a great colorway distinction that highlight the watch in a great way.

That's a shame. At the end of the day, it's not a Rolex, it doesn't say Rolex it's a great alternative with historic values at a competaive price. Alas it doesn't have the snob value nor the bragging rights so if that's what the buyer wants, then jump on the band wagon and buy a Sub or wish for a Daytona

It’s not that with me. There is something about the case design and crown that irks me. It’s not about snob value... I just get the feeling they put an ugly (to me) crown just to step it away from the sub. I recommend the eta version to people. It’s just to me the watch doesn’t resonate or look right on my wrist.

That’s fair enough. FWIW I have had a black bay black and also a GMT. Both left, in the case of the GMT I just felt it was too big for the gmt I knew and loved (16710). The harrods is the same watch in the main, but for some reason I love it and it sits well on my wrist (I do like green). I tried a BB chrono on Friday and did not like it at all really.

The case design is a bit slab sided, but I actually think it suits the rugged look. as with all these things, however, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Wow that's really cool, I have a Tudor Black Bay Bronze Bucherer I think is cool but the green is pretty sexy...

It’s a beautiful watch and the colts are great but...too big for me. After my Pelagos, I’ve decided to go smaller...BB58 is my pick although an AT 38mm with a blue dial might be the winner.

Yep - it wears bigger than its 41mm size and is right on my limit. I have a bit of an emotional attachment however as it’s the only watch I’ve ever ‘got the call’ for so it’s a keeper.

It’s for sure my biggest watch. 38-40 is my sweet spot.

Think there is one for sale on private sales section. Not a recommendation and no connection to me before anyones suggests otherwise 😉
