I bowed out at less than 40k, could have had a backer with me through 50 but it blew way pas that... Seller made out like a bandit assuming he gets paid and the check doesn't bounce

Interesting after it hit the eBay cap and was "sold" the item was pulled. I checked 2 days after it said "sold." Now "no longer available." I wonder how that got pulled off. eBay or the seller?
The seller probably realized that he could've get much more for it...And I bet he had a lot of offers via PM saying:"I would pay so and so take it out of eBay".
Wonder what the back out fees are on that. Or if eBay allowed him to do it. High bidders going to be pissed etc. not that simple.
