This watch was amongst a lot which included a genuine Tudor 9110/0 and although I was fairly confident it was a copy I have only just been able to have my watchmaker take the case back off to see what movement lies within. Appears to be a genuine 2824-2 but not Tudor branded and has the letter H stamped on the rotor. Bracelet is stamped but feels a bit flimsy. Not that familiar with these watches but found what I was thinking are tell tale signs of it being a copy. The case back markings don't appear to have been applied correctly and I haven't seen similar examples with "STAINLESS STEEL" stamped / etched on the back. Also there is no letter prefix before the serial number between the lugs. I was looking to include with some other watches I am selling but thought I would ask if this is a cheap and nasty fake or maybe a better quality copy. Thoughts would be appreciated.

 

I definitely think that the movement is not correct.

 

The case engravings are not correct, caseback is laser etched, movement is fake. If all of those are fake, chances are the rest of the parts are as well.

Yeah, but it is not a Tudor version and it is the lowest grade available (with a jeweled auto module). I suspect this is a fake tudor from before Chinese 2824s were around.
