I’ve found a Tudor 7106/0 I want to buy and would like some help from someone who has knowledge of this model.

Some pics of the watch - amateur critique good not mint - the case looks polished - the hands look more yellow than the numeral dots - snowflake hour hand ok - original bracelet? -writing all in place / might be the lighting but it looks very bright! Thanks for looking

Case back indicates that this is a 1968 semi pointed crown guard. That serial number should be 619K to 625K. That dial is for a 740 K The hands would be correct on either one with the big bubble sweep. So that dial did not come originally with that case unless the case back was swapped.

Otherwise the case is decent, the hands and dial match very well, the bracelet is much later. This would have had a Rolex bracelet in 1968 through 1970 something. The insert is a very nice insert for the 70s, and you would find this insert on 1969 watches or later. It is entirely conceivable that the dial and insert were replaced during a service in the late 70s. Or this is a watch that has had part substitutions

Yeh - it's not bad, if cheap, for a fun beater Tudor. But it is not as it left the factory and any form.
