I have found out that longines bought record watch co, and since it seems that some people here have vast knowledge of longines history, i was hopping someone could tell me some thing more of this ww2 watch.

Nothing to do with Longines. This was a WWII German military watch manufactured by Record, which was quite a good company prior to the (much later) sale to Longines.
