Has anyone ever bought anything from TrueFacet.com? They look to have some decent prices on vintage Omegas.
Looks to be some sort of online clearing house... where they're brokering the sale between the seller and you - https://www.truefacet.com/authenticity-promise/
I have done a lot of browsing at TrueFacet and to me, generally, the watches seem over-priced. But what bothers me the most is the limited amount of information and photos presented for watches sold there. Rarely, if ever, do you see photos of the watch's movement. It would be difficult for me to purchase a vintage watch online without high-resolution photos of all aspects of the watch, including the movement. Watches are definitely not a specialty of theirs, but rather, another class of second-hand jewelry.
Having a more detailed look through - the prices are double, in some cases quadruple what you would pay for the same models in similar condition through eBay. Quartz two tone constellation Manhattan for $2800.... very worn, no B&P... hell no.
