I have an omega constellation 168.009 with the brick style gold band. It was my dad's watch and i'd like to wear it but its always coming loose. You know the type, the clasp folds open then slides out so you can get it over your hand. The slide part does not stay fixed after i snap the claps in place. I've tried researching to see if there is a spring missing but i can't seem to get any info on it. Anyone here know? Thanks, george

Can you post some pics? I think Dennis (Ulackfocus) has the same watch on bracelet and might be able to help.

It's an easy fix. Know how? Take it to a watchmaker that knows what their doing. ;) Have them service the watch too so you don't ruin it by running it with dried up oils and dirt inside. Don't wreck a great heirloom.

What city are you in, might be easier to direct you to a vintage watchmaker then
