Hey OmegaForums,

I recently brought my first Omega, an early 80s day date sea master. I am so pleased to own one but unfortunately I am having trouble finding position 1.

When I first unpacked it I snapped it in position 1 played with the time/day then position 2 and played with the date.

But now I'm struggling so much to get 1 again. It seems to just bump out into 2 and is so hard to get into 1.

I was hoping some of you experts may have a tip or trick to do so! Thanks.

 

It could be that the setting lever spring is cracked or something is loose in the setting mechanism. Either way, it sounds like it needs a service.
