    I even didn’t see it listed :oops: And a very fair asking !

    Very nice watch. The only thing to add to the requested price is probably a nice DON, but still it would be a ‘cheap’ tropical 69er :)

    6700€........ ::facepalm1::

    Yeah, a nice DON would be perfect on it.
    But, I don't know why, the color of the lume bothers me as it looks super yellow... Maybe I'm wrong but I suspect it to be relumed.
    What do you guys think?

    The biggest issue with this watch is: you always think you have enough Speedies and then something like this comes around..

    Absolutely and thanks :) I'll have some of the movement as well. Since it wasn't shown in the ad, I'm hoping there isn't just a spooled up wad of dental floss back there or that it wasn't all ground to dust... Fingers crossed...

    So here are some quick pictures as I just got the watch, and honestly can't stop staring at how perfect it is in person. To my surprise I came with an extract of the archives. I was interested to see that it had no "delivered to:" info on it. Could any of the more experienced members chime in as to why that might be?

    Either way I'm elated to have this watch. The fact that I was able to get it a little cheaper then the asking price makes this chocolate dial that much sweeter... [emoji6][emoji106][emoji106] IMG_20171027_133337.jpg IMG_20171027_133342.jpg IMG_20171027_140210.jpg IMG_20171026_182159.jpg

    Very nice watch. You might consider refreshing the extract at some point to see if it includes any new info. Keep the one you have too!

    Well done, you took a chance and won. I am happy that the deal turned out well for you. Not everybody is a shyster, thank God. It is good to know that a genuine good deal can be made , it takes some nerve and will not always work.
    The sun shone on you,when you made your decision to buy.
    Nice looking piece.

    @oddboy Thank you sir. I had thought about doing that. Have you had experience where a newer extract would pull new info?

    BTW, I took your advice from another thread regarding watch straps and went with a Bas & Lokes leather strap. Excellent recommendation!

    Extracts before around 2012 have been known to simply recite whatever the requesting party sent to them, and probably didn't include much effort on the Museum's part, so a current Extract (done under up-to-date procedures) could indeed return more information. Worth a try IMO
