Unique 1940s Breitling dress watch with a crazy tropical copper colored dial and stainless case with fancy lugs. Dial: most likely originally oyster/silver colored that has aged to a deep copper/brown, has applied gold markers. One spot at 2 as pictured. Case: 34.9mm stainless snap back Brevet case with fancy lugs, 18mm. It has an acrylic crystal dust cover. In great condition. Movement: Not sure on this, appears to be a Felsa, but not 100% sure. Clean and runs well, do not know service history. Hands/Crown/Crystal: Hands are original deep blue/purple. Crown appears original. Acrylic crystal. The watch is in great shape as pictured. Asking $399 shipped in the CONUS. DM or email watchknut AT gmail.com IG Video: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYdjrMllTGl/
"Brevet" and the associated Swiss Cross symbol means that there is an associated patent to the construction. Could be related to the dust cover, but no way of knowing that without the patent number...
