After a year of owning my Seamaster 300 and wearing nearly nothing else, I decided that the 1610/840 bracelet combination was The One For Me. Therefore, I went in search of a new 1610 to replace the used 1610 I bought previously. I found a 1610 on eBay from New Zealand, and got a good "Best Offer" deal. The bracelet arrived, I sized it, and replaced the end pieces. The result you see below. I very much like the size and thickness of this watch. It looks like some of the new watches with the coaxial movements have gotten very thick, and I don't think I'd like that. As an alternative to the bracelet, I also have Omega orange crocodile on deployant buckle. I'll have to arrange all of the extras for sale soon. Thanks for reading my nonsense in the past year and showing me good pictures to help make up my mind. Tom
Looks very nice, glad you found out what you really enjoy wearing best! Looking forward to seeing some more photos with your perfect watch.
Looks more integrated than the mesh, but the mesh is king, and the king beats emperors. If only the mesh had a more integrated connection to the watch it'd be perfect. You're happy with it Tom, that's all that counts.
