Up for sale is a nice Zenith Sporto Cal. 40. The serial number dates it to roughly 1960. The case and dial are in excellent (near NOS) condition. It wears slightly larger than 35mm due to the lugs. The watch wears very thin even by vintage standards. I purchased this watch online from Italy and the service history is unknown. The watch appears to be working correctly but I would recommend a service if you're planning to wear it regularly. Two issues: 1. I do have reason to believe the hands were changed at some point as I've been told they should be lumed to match the dial. Had I kept the watch I was planning to have it serviced by Zenith and have them replace the hands with the correct version. 2. The clear plastic dust cover is missing from the movement. The photos are from the previous listing but they're an honest representation of the watch. I've only worn it once and it actually looks better in person. Other than that the watch appears to be correct including the signed crown and buckle. It will come with the pictured leather strap. I'm asking $650 shipped in CONUS.
