Would you do a straight trade - Ed White for a Tudor Monte Carlo 7149? Both would be in VG-Excellent condition on the TZ scale.

    Yes or no? And why?

(stock photos below - not the watches in question!)

Probably not for this one because the color isn't as versatile as the speedy.. but definitely yes for a Tudor 7031 (but that's not the question ha :) )

Would like to see shots of the watches in daylight, without any filters or photo effects...

I've long wanted a Monte Carlo, but I'm not sure I'd trade an Ed White in great condition to get one.

No way I'd trade one with that kind of lume/bezel colouration - a less attractive one? Maybe.

Beautiful! I tried to purchase this exact watch from B&S first part of the year, but looks like you beat me to it. Definitely wouldn't trade it away.

I think it would be easier to decide if you showed the watches in question, as condition is so important. The watches you pictured are not the actual ones....correct? But my gut would say no..... Keep the speedy :D

I would. I just got the Blue Tudor Heritage Chrono myself and absolutely love it. It is true it is not as versatile but I have plenty , and probably you do too, of versatile watches. the Retro, Sporty summer look of the tudor just got me. and I love to wear it. That Ed White is amazing though, so if you don't have other speedy's that you cherish more you will probably miss it in the long run. In my case the Speedy doesn't quite grab me as much these days (often bores me despite its pefcection) so I appreciate the originality and freshness of the Tudor

For what it's worth, unless you have several Ed White's as stunning as this Ed White, there's no chance I'd make the trade. ;)

I think I'm headed the same way. I just got a THC Blue to tide me over until I find the right vintage Monte Carlo Blue..
