Has anyone here purchased an Omega from TOM? A co-worker is asking about a speedy reduced and an automatic. I feel like the price is decent. No box or papers but they have a 20% off code. I mentioned that he would get a better deal hear, especially when you consider buying the seller. Just wanted to know what the general census was.
I'm wary of any online store that won't let you see what they sell without providing personal information - in this case, your email.
I have purchased merchandise from the Touch of Modern web app, the most expensive purchase being a Wolf Watch Winder. I've never had a problem but of course it wasn't a watch.
It's fairly easy to find a +/- v. good (and an occasional mint) speedmaster reduced with box and papers (if you care about that stuff) from Japan for around $1200 - $1300. This must be a very popular reference in Japan? Is this 20 off 1749? If so, seems like a fair deal. I'd take another 100 off if the original bracelet isn't included in sale. Otherwise, the dial looks nice, doesn't it? Properly aged and patinated.
They have a new set of listings. Some seem a little high. You can own this one for a mere $100K. https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales...odern.com/sales/rare-luxury-timepieces?open=1
