@Seiji if you still in SD and have some spare time, a visit to the USS Midway museum is a must!

Behind that wall is the home of the LCAC's huge hovercraft used to move troops and equipment at very high speeds onto beaches. Impressive to see the things out of the hangers and running, which you can sometimes see from the 5 Freeway.

    Glad it was Sunny!

I live about 30 miles North of SD in Orange County. Every so often I go to San Diego and Oceanside for diving or looking for watches in pawn shops. I think only on one occasion was I lucky enough to see a beach landing with that hovercraft from the 5. I will check out the Midway museum!

There are a few of us in Orange County. I'll make sure you are on the invite list for any get together we might have. I'm in Newport.

I don't know much about watches, but this is one of the areas I collect in.

Those Olangapos were available right outside the old Subic base.

I believe they were Ken Jacob's personal collection. I wanted the Marine Recon watch the most, but that was not for sale. Been awhile so I don't know if he still has it.

    Hi All,

    I am from Anaheim CA.
I have Omega Seamaster Professional, and I just purchased a Grand Seiko this week while in NYC. Will post pictures later.
    Thanks

I live right on the beach in Oceanside - whenever they do that hovercraft landing, it is impressive. It also blows sand all inside the house...LOL
