    Hi guys I'm new to the forums and had a question about this Omega seamster deep black and red I saw. It offered on ebay in a no reserve auction. The seller has a watch that looks incredibly similar listed for buy it now. Does this seem too good to be true? Or is it a really good deal? Thanks everyone

    UPDATE: The seller says that they are 2 different watches of the same model

    Everything seems legit. How good the deal is? You will only find out when the auction ends. Worth watching the last 30 seconds.

    Thats true. It might be less than $2000 now but might shoot up to 10k

    Mind if I ask in broad terms why you think it's a replica? No specific giveaways obviously but this one doesn't have any of the signs if usually be able to know a fake by

    That being said I'm not familiar with this model at all either

    I love it how some become an expert all of a sudden. I am the owner of the auction, and the ebay store. Check my feedback. Do you REALLY think its likely that this is a fake? Please, do tell, Megan, what is a giveaway that this is indeed a fake? Considering the fact that we a) have another 60 listings posted (are they ALL fake, do tell?!) and b) have been selling since 2004 - I'd love to hear your 'expert' opinion on this one.

    The PO series are the easiest to fake but I will neither show disrespect nor arrogance in the presence of my elders.....
    Let's give the other distinguished forum members a chance to offer their thoughts and inputs , shall we ?

    Well, you sort of already did. You accused a reputable seller of selling a fake that sells "for 355 in Kuala Lumpur". What basis do you have? Would love to hear your actual rationale.

    @Ralph97

    Same type of watch recently sold on open eBay auction in US. You can search completed auctions. I can't recall price now, but it seemed very favorable for a buyer back when I was monitoring auction.

    And, albeit being new to Omegaforums, I have been in business for over a decade, and go by the same handle on the Rolex forums - check my rep there. Not boasting, but come on...

    I happen to know Mosco. I know the watch in question. I am 100% certain the Omega is genuine. I own the same watch myself. It comes with everything expected with a new Omega watch. I think it's terrible that meganfox17 would make a statement saying a watch is a fake when there is zero evidence to support such a claim.

    Yes, I'd love to hear the evidence instead of this pointless gum-flapping.
