I decided to try and take some close up photos of my Speedy dial, I was going to buy a lens but tried it with the iPhone first. Love this dial.

The sugary, granular finish on the Rising Sun is very attractive, a lot different than most Speedmaster dials.

Agreed, it’s what attracted me to the watch. The photos never do it justice, it needs to be seen in person to really get the full benefit.

That looks great. While the panda gets a lot of the love, I personally found this and the blue the most attractive of the Tokyo editions. Very nice indeed and better for being different.
