Why on earth would you touch it? Looks cool as hell as is...painting the numerals will just take away from the originality of theach watch.
What a cool dial, I like it a lot. I'd personally love to see what it looked like with a proper relume, but would I do it if it were mine? I think I'd be too scared.
If you do relume, unless the person doing it is particularly skilled, you are probably going to end up with a dial where the new lume looks incongruous against the weathered dial i.e. its just going to look out of place and obviously re-done. For this reason alone, I would leave as-is. If the dial were less weathered then re-luming it might not be such a bad idea
That's a little drastic lol. How about a picture of the watch with a proper second hand? No worries, I will definitely be leaving it as is. I quite like the contrast of the white markers. @gemini4, it is browner than the pictures I posted, unfortunately it is hard to capture the color with my Nexus.
Maybe you're right if you mean the speedmaster writing and subdials, nothing i would buy because it's simply defective
That was my first impression as well when I saw it. Seems like something or someone rubbed the professional wording. Whatever happened to the dial, it's quite interesting to look at and I certain will be keeping it for a while. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
