I got another G-Shock.

I owned a G-Shock when I was 9. I remember saving up for it and how giddy I was when my dad drove me to buy it. At that age $50 seemed like a lot of money.

How much do G-Shocks sell for these days?

 

This one was $120. I never looked up the prices on any other models.

 

I got a G-shock when I purchased a Ford Focus back in 2000. I gave it to my teenage niece who thought it was the bomb. Personally, I don't really get them. I understand the functionality and the potential to take abuse; I just don't find them very attractive. I'm certainly a minority though.

I'm inclined to agree and would be interested to hear what/why people like about them.

 

I personally use my G-Shock everyday for almost everything. I'm not fussed about anything happening to it as I know for a fact that it's super tough and is able to take the beating. I know they're not great looking, but it get's the job done I suppose..
Perhaps I just like the 'Invincible' aspect of it.
