Struggling with this one, but over the last 8 or so years I've seen my collection go from one piece, to 4, to over 20 but lately I've slowly been downsizing in volume, but struggling if I will truly be happy with two amazing pieces vs. several 'very good' ones. My gut tells me I will be happier with only a couple of watches that will get worn all the time vs a larger rotation. To get the two pieces I lust after will require parlaying the balance of my collection to obtain the grails, but I'm torn. Curious what others have done in the past...

Nothing wrong with doing that, I did that with some of my pocket watches a while back when I set my eyes on a Hamilton 992. A decision I am still very happy with.
