Hey guys, I was wearing my speedy today with its 1039. I realised that it is a bit too tight. Would you go to an Omega AD to ask them to add one (are they still able/teached to do that?) or could I try by myself during this week-end? Would you have a tutorial how to do it then?

    Have a nice week-end !

You will not be able to purchase a 1039 link from a boutique. You will have to find a member here that could sell you one or two, or browse eBay as the links pop up from time to time. There may even be some available now. You can then go to the boutique and they will gladly help you size it and add the appropriate link(s)

Good luck in finding anyone at an OB that knows their way around a 1039 bracelet.

I have more links ! I might have 4/5 more and I only want to add one! The question is shall I go there (because they would be able to add it) or better to do it on my own with the help/advices from people on this forum ?

There is a tutorial for adding links at old-omegas.com.

I'm doing it !!! The centre piece from behind is quite easy to remove but then to put it back is such a struggle...

    Good luck with the bracelet.

As for going to an OB, I took my flat link bracelet to ask if they could help and it was a no go. They hadn't even seen one before let alone know what to do with it.

Did it myself after reading some tutorials, taking my time. A little nerve wracking, but manageable.

A thin blade either side of the link you are trying to slide the cap into makes it much easier, I know it can be frustrating and you wish you had a third hand.

The boutique near me knows how, because I’ve taken mine there, but I guess every one is different based on experience.
