I just just picked up this Titus Tuning Fork watch. The price was right, the piece appeared to be in good shape. The watch was not running when I received it, so I took it in for a new battery. Now it seems to be running well!
My understanding is that these watches were assembled using NOS cases and bracelets from Omega. The ESA tuning fork movement is identical to the one Omega used, but the plates have a different finish.
    Any other info on these?

The case and strap design appear to be very similar to my 70's Omega Geneve. Bit different on the case back and minus the bezel

Thanks! I believe the Titus used the case and bracelet from an Omega Seamaster F300 tuning fork watch (Ref. 198.0044).

My understanding is that after Omega quit making F300's they sold extra parts or stock to Titus. There are example of Titus hummers with Omega symbols in the crystal.

I foolishly released this watch from my collection (blue face model) about three years ago. Regretted that decision ever since!

Fortunately, I have just secured the exact same model as yours and eagerly await delivery this week.

I am aware of the Omega connection and am also aware that these timepieces are becoming increasingly more scarce and difficult to get hold of.

Take it from an ex owner, they are a fantastic timepiece and should form part of every watch enthusiast’s collection.

Would you be prepared to share price range that you paid for your model, if not too personal?

Congratulations on securing such a classic timepiece!
