Had a local watch guy fix a loose hour hand on my Titoni Cosmo King. He said it looked like there was some significant damage to the movement and recommend replacing the movement with a new ETA. I'd rather keep a titoni movement in there. Should I send this into the titoni USA service center or ?

I know it's not worth a lot of money but it is a nice watch.

ETA parts are not hard to find. Send it to an experienced independent watchmaker.

I know it starts out as a ETA movement. They make several changes and at the least engrave Titoni on the balance wheel. Maybe I'm worried about nothing.

They list it as an eta on the website. At most they engraved the rotor . A more competent watch maker should be able to just get the few parts needed. Unless it had water damage.

I suspect a local watchmaker that serviced it a few years ago messed it up. The other one local has a 2 year backlog.
