I am just getting into titanium cases as a wonderful medium for a diver.
Was thinking about a seamaster 2231.50...are there other cool Omega watches made of titanium that would be worth considering...

Not a diver's medium but also a titanium complication with GMT.

I've always fancied trying one of the 150th anniversary Seamasters with the grey wave dial. The non-Ltd version with the electric blue dial also looks cool.

One of my favourites in Ti is the Ref 2255.80, which has the electric blue dial of the 2231.50 black, looks great against the titanium and really pops to bring the waves alive, more so in person than can be captured in pictures. Its a dial type Omega hasn't really done since in divers. These are a pretty special thing though as there are no titanium Bond Seamasters, and Ti wasn't brought back into the diver lineup until the Cal 8500 Planet Ocean.

Being Calibre 1120 too, you can get them serviced absolutely anywhere and they're as sturdy as the proverbial brick outhouse, one of the best daily wear beater watches you could have.

I know you only asked about Omega, but, when you say titanium diver, I can't help but think of the Pelagos, so you may want to check that watch out, too:

You probably mean 2231.80, as 2255.80 is stainless? :) They are wonderfully light, and yes. Bulletproof Caliber 1120

    +1

Though I feel it always looks better in photos than in person, Pelagos is a sweet watch!

Pelagos is a close second for me as I really like the thinner profile of the 2231.50

I am interested to see the new Pelagos in the flesh however

Check out the thread above this one, where I try on 5 different straps for my ti blue wave face.

If you're not stuck on a dive watch and are open to quartz, check out the new x33 Skywalker. Super light, durable, multifunctional, and I think 100m WR.

Fwiw my go to EDW is my breitling aerospace, followed by my Ti seamaster.

Does that blue faced reference come on a titanium "speedy" bracelet or only the bond one?

Oh either of those are perfect! I am going to focus my search on those two watches.

I was torn between the new Pelagos or older Seamaster but for some reason was drawn to the sword hands titanium Seamaster as a real classic, one of the best of its kind. The Pelagos wears large, and while gorgeous, this is what lead to to grow apart from my Planet Ocean 8500...
