Does anyone know anything about this model? I came across this on a dealer's website. I think it's interesting but can find very little about the Militar. It's supposed to be from the 60's. No movement photos.

That particular watch likely dates to the mid-to-late 1950s, before Tissot changed over their cursive logo to a serif logo in 1960. The first generation of the Militar product line dates to the mid-1940s. As you might imagine, Tissot marketed the product line as a rugged watch, as seen in this ad:

The product line must have enjoyed some commercial success, as Tissot kept the name on watches throughout the 1950s and early 1960s. The product line adopted fancier dials over time. My Militar dates to 1955 seen here on a WRUW post. You'll find many different variations on font and placement of the 'Militar' on the dial. The example you show likely uses a caliber 28.5R-21, and the dial and caseback look correct, although I cannot say for sure if the hands are correct.
