Another one that does not get wrist time.

This is an uncommonly large Tissot with beautiful gold and black tuxedo dial housed in a 36mm gold plated case. Dating to the 1940s this watch wears beautifully. Even spotting throughout the dial with print and numerals intact. Very minimal plating wear on the lugs as expected of an 80 year old watch. Solid welded bars with accurate form strap from curious curio. The last photo shows how it wears on my 7.5 inch wrist.

Serviced one year ago and running well. Not a lot of comps out there so I will just ask what I paid for it! Yours for 550 usd (was 950 usd) with shipping on me. International shipping would be more.

Someone requested the caliber and serial so here are some photos. Looks like 1.1 million serial dating to the early 1940s.

If you like it make an offer? These watches come up infrequently from this era. I’m happy to lose money so you can enjoy it.

Did a quick search and these 1940s era cal 27 Tissot list above 1000 usd including poor condition and redialed watches with 34 mm cases. This one is recently serviced, with original dial, and much less common large 36mm case.

here’s another wrist shot.

It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I didn't know I liked it until I was in too deep this year already. Any historical info like catalogs to show it in the early heyday? Not well versed in vintage Tissot in particular.

Alright so you guys want me to lose more money on this one. I get it. How about 650? Basically half off of any other one i've seen that isn't a redial and less than the common 34mm models.

650 not low enough? 550? I'm happy to lose half the value if you want this piece of shit.

I recommend that you change the asking price in your original listing as you make price adjustments. People will often see the word "reduced" in the title, scroll to the bottom of the first post and assume that the asking price was already adjusted (in this case, to $950).

I think it's a very handsome watch.

Thanks man! I actually find the watch ugly as hell. Hence why I’d like to sell it. I must have been quite impaired when I bought it from Shellman.
