    Hello,

would appreciate opinions on this Visodate that I just bought since I have very little experience with watches.

My concerns are the missing "swiss made" label on the dial, the strange second hand, the plain crown and the missing gold stamp of the case.

The pictures below are my watch and the following link points to a movement and dial which look identical to mine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tissot-28-5R-621-mouvement-/201444370687Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

    What do you think?

The 14k case is marked ok, but your other suspicions are correct.
It's been redialed, if that's of concern to you.
Nice Visodates come up for sale all the time on the 'Bay.
A better one will soon come along.

Does the 28.5R-621 have any kind of quick date function?

If I recall correctly, a quickset date feature was not introduced until the early 1970s.
The 28.5R movement ended production in the early 1960s.
