I‘ve seen a really nice older Seamaster model in the window of a local jeweler.

The shop was closed so I have not seen it in the metal yet. I think it was a 2511.21 with a white dial.

Do you have any tipps on what I have to look for when I will get a chance to try and inspect it on the weekend?

The price was 999 €. Do you think that is fair - depending on the condition of course?

I am searching for a nice small watch with a white dial and this seems just perfect on first glance.

The fact that it is quartz, and that price would be enough to discourage most folks around these parts. That seems like a lot of money for a used watch. Once you talk to the seller, and have a look at the watch, it is pretty much your decision.
