Ok. I didn't realize these were so affordable. I spend a ton of time setting my watches and waiting days to see how accurate my work was. I'm curious if anybody else owns the "affordable" version 1000 and the results.

I went reading those old threads. It's amazing when Al says he doesn't have much time and then proceeds to give a detailed, thorough, well exposed lecture on the topic at hand.

Just went through all the threads. Al is a saint and will be rewarded in his next life :D
I definitely fall in to the "good enough" category of collectors and will be picking one of these up soon.

It sat unused in my cupboard for the past year. That must tell something. ;)

I edited the post: It's called "Twixt Time".

    Hi Jim !!!!

    *edit

originally the developer designed a mic pick-up (audio) system but it sucked and didn't work well.

The new app is deadly accurate. I know because my watchmaker gives me the time graph info after a service.

    Hi Rich,

Thanks for that, I might give it a try.

I 'spose it's a bit like Emerald Time Stamp, with the added luxury of calculating the delta's between markers.

    Cheers mate.

When sitting in a worship I asked if I should have a timeographer.

"Definitely" he said, "then you will bring loads more to me to service"

    they're like loupes.

if you've got one then no dial you've got is ever "nice" enough. I know most of us are inveterate fiddlers but what's the point of having one if you don't do your own servicing.
