    I have an Omega 564 von my timegrapher:

    Rate is between 0 and 2 seconds a day, thats very good I think.

    Beat error is 3,4 ms, that's really bad

    What is the interrelation between these two parameters???

    (Amplitude is 256)

    The beat error is the difference in the time required for the balance to swing in one direction, and the time required to swing in the other direction. So the difference between the tick and tock.

    There really isn’t necessarily a direct correlation between the two.

    By the way, what lift angle do you have the machine set for?
